The name VidaVibe was inspired by “Pura Vida”, a phrase often heard in Costa Rica that translates to “pure life.” But it’s more than words—it’s a way of living. To the locals, it means leaving worries behind, embracing each day as a gift, and chasing new experiences with gratitude and joy. That’s the essence of VidaVibe Volleyball: a celebration of life, energy, and the freedom to live fully—on and off the court.  LIVE. LOVE. PLAY.

Our History

In 2011, after years in the corporate world and earning her MBA in Marketing, Owner & Founder Jenn Cibrone was ready for a new challenge. A mission trip to Costa Rica and a noticeable gap in volleyball apparel sparked an idea. As a lifelong volleyball player, Jenn realized her closet lacked clothing and accessories that celebrated the sport while fitting her style. Research confirmed the demand, and by 2012, Pura Vida Volleyball was born.

In its first year, the brand appeared at three local tournaments in Tampa. Within two years, it expanded into the Northeast, giving Jenn the momentum to pursue the business full time. Over the next eight years, Pura Vida Volleyball grew steadily—working with major influencers and diving into e-commerce with a warehouse and studio.

By 2021, we celebrated our most successful year yet. With that growth came a clear opportunity: to expand beyond volleyball while still honoring the sport that started it all. After nearly a decade of hard work, we evolved our vision—transitioning from a niche volleyball brand into something bigger.

In celebration of our 10th anniversary, we reintroduced ourselves as VidaVibe—an inclusive, active lifestyle brand. Volleyball remains at our core, but our collections now embrace a broader community of people who live with passion, energy, and purpose. From updated classics to fresh, inspiring designs, VidaVibe is here for all lovers of life.

Today, we are proud to serve as the official event tournament merchandiser for 32 major volleyball tournaments across the U.S.—including the prestigious Nike Boston Volleyball National Qualifier. This milestone reflects our passion, hustle, and commitment to the volleyball community nationwide—and we’re just getting started. With eyes set on 2026 and beyond, VidaVibe is ready to keep growing, inspiring, and giving back to the communities we love.

At the heart of it all is our VidaVibe Tribe—a community bound by the love of volleyball and a desire to share the spirit, energy, and culture of the game with the world.
