VidaVibe Hurricane Update

VidaVibe Volleyball Update:

As a small business there will always be challenges.  Last month VidaVibe Volleyball took on 2 feet of flood waters from Hurricane Helene. Our warehouse is located less than half a mile from the gulf coast on St. Pete Beach, FL. It’s been a challenging month navigating the process as we rebuild. We are fortunate to have flood insurance on the our contents and working with insurance on the claim.

As we were cleaning up the warehouse from Hurricane Helene only a few days later we were notified another Hurricane was coming our way with storm surge up to 12 feet high. The team packed up the majority of the warehouse into a 26ft Uhaul and took it too higher grounds (we already needed to clear out the warehouse for demolition). We were super lucky Hurricane Milton didn’t do any additional damage but just delayed the entire process of getting back to normal.

Our landlord has been amazing through the process trying to get us up and running as quickly as possible. But unfortunately the challenge has been our city St. Pete Beach, stalling the process with delayed permits making it super frustrating.  The new floors are going in this week as we prep the warehouse to get this done as quickly as possible. Due to Hurricane Helene on September 26th, we had to temporarily close our online business. We’re aiming to be back up and running by November 18th, just in time for holiday shopping.

Thank you to our entire volleyball community for all your support. We will be better and stronger at the end. Thank you to all our customers for your patience through this process.
